There and back again…

Well I’m back! I had a lovely vacation and now I’m ready to return to blogging. Anyway I didn’t think I would come up with something until this upcoming friday, but apparently something hit me and I wanted to make an outfit revolving around the chestpiece, Everstout. This is a beautiful piece but difficult to match. Most people just match them with Kin-hide Leggings, but I decided to try something a bit different. In the end it turned into a sort of leafy/fall theme.

The Steed of Rhun really matches the outfit perfectly, though if my mini had a warsteed I’m sure it would look even better with it dyed. I was surprised when I found a cloak that perfectly matches the three colours in the the outfit.

Back: Wrap of Turning leaves (Harvest Festival barter), dark green

Chest: Everstout (rare world drop), dark green

Hands: Leather Bracers of the Gentle Stag (Dunland quest reward), umber

Legs: Rune-stitched Dunlending Leggings (Dunland quest reward), dark green

Feet: Golden Host Boots  (crafted T6), umber

Notes: If you can’t find Everstout from drops or the AH, the Wolfpelt Jacket has the same design and is found in the same place.

Midnight Ranger

This ranger only comes out when the moon is at its highest peak. She hides in the water and waits for her enemy to come out in sight, hoping that she doesn’t make any noise.

She hides in the bushes, only to find that an animal was there before her. She quietly tries to calm down it so she can wait.

She jumps out at just the right moment to scare her enemy and defeat him. Though she finds its almost dawn and she must get back to camp.

Except one problem: Where was her camp?

I wanted to try making an outfit around a chest piece from Dunland. I remembered I always wanted to try making an outfit around this shirt ever since I got in back a while ago. It is a very feminine style chest piece and looks great in just about any colour.
